At this time the court unions have met and discussed the upcoming policy from OCA concerning the mandate from Governor Cuomo that requires weekly COVID testing of all unvaccinated state workers. There is no requirement to be vaccinated. The decision of whether to be vaccinated or not is a personal choice. We ask that you respect your co-workers' decisions. However, if you remain unvaccinated be advised that you will be required to be tested weekly as well as wear a mask. There is no “third” option.
We are in contact with OCA to ensure everyone’s right to a safe work environment. We will continue to protect your right to choose whether or not to be vaccinated.
