REMOTE OPERATION: We have made the necessary technical arrangements to operate the union office remotely. Beginning Monday, March 30 the COBANC office will be available via phone and email. All mail is being forwarded. Please do not fax us - the machine is not being monitored.
COMMUNICATION: It is important to know that the court system cannot provide COBANC with direct notification of employees that have been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19. We are monitoring the situation through information reported by our delegates and members. Communication is key for us being able to help. We are very concerned for our members well-being and have reached out to every affected member that we know about. If you have been affected or have concerns, we urge you to contact us by calling 516-794-0600 or sending an email to info@cobanc.org. If you wish to report information to us anonymously you can use the "Contact Us" web form at https://cobanc.org/contact and use a generic name and email address such as Anonymous and x@x.com. No matter how you contact us all information will remain confidential.
SOCIAL MEDIA: Please keep in mind that everything you post on the internet is public information and can easily be seen by your employer. Think before you post. Nothing more needs to be said.
