Happy Memorial Day

Monday, May 28, 2018

Monday is Memorial Day, the one day of the year that is set aside to remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. These soldiers, airmen, sailors, and marines died to keep our country safe and to protect many of the freedoms that we often take for granted. Freedoms like the the ability to freely speak our minds, the freedom to join a union, the freedom to practice (or not practice) whatever religion we like. While everyone loves the three day weekend and the kickoff to the beach season, please take a few moments to remember those who gave their lives for this freedom. Some of them may be your family members, your friends, while many are strangers that you never met, but on Monday we remember and honor their sacrifices for our freedom and way of life.
