COBANC Members Save a Life

Wednesday, November 22, 2017

Two members of our MSP Unit, Officer Mark Pullo and Sergeant Michelle Barrett, while performing routine duties in an MSP vehicle, were flagged down and made aware of a man in distress. The two officers approached the man who was slumped in a seat in a van in Hempstead and having just received Narcan training the two officers immediately identified the signs of a possible overdose. They administered Narcan and the man responded positively within minutes - before additional help arrived. Trained professionals hard at work in our communities who more than likely saved a man's life that day. They deserve our admiration and gratitude. Thank You Officer Pullo and Sgt. Barrett, well done.
